MEET THE GOVERNING BOARD AT IMAGINE ANDREWS PCS
James R. Estepp
President
James R. Estepp is the president of the Board of Directors for Imagine Andrews Public Charter School. Estepp has been an influential member of the Prince George’s County business community for many years. His organization, the Andrews Business Alliance, helps to spur business and development in the areas surrounding Andrews Air Force Base. Estepp works closely with senior base leadership as a liaison to the Prince George’s County community.
In addition to Alliance, he serves as director of operations for the Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable in Bowie. Estepp received a BA in History from Rutgers University.
Robyn Owens
Vice President
Robyn R. Owens serves as the vice-president of the Board of Directors for Imagine Andrews Public Charter School. Robyn is the Director, Corporate Partnerships at United Way of the National Capital Area where she spent the last 12 years providing leadership in the areas of fundraising, strategic planning and volunteer management. Robyn joined United Way after providing over 20 years of service in the health care industry. During her tenure in health care, she worked with leading industry companies such as UnitedHealthcare, CIGNA, Health Plans of America and Group Health Association.
Robyn received her MA in General Business Management from Bowie State University and her BS in Consumer Management from Howard University. Robyn resides in Prince George’s County Maryland with her husband Anthony and two daughters Micalah and Sydney.
Rosalind Bishop
Board Member
Ms. Bishop is a member of the Board of Directors for Imagine Andrews Public Charter School and is the Regional Manager at Andrews Federal Credit Union. Ms. Bishop has over 30 years of management experience in the banking industry. She had led, managed and supervised large staffs and full-service branches with high traffic volumes, complex operations and diverse teams of various experience levels.
Angela Holmes
Board Member
Ms. Holmes is a member of the Board of Directors for Imagine Andrews Public Charter School and is a Community Advocate and Developer. She currently serves as President/CEO of Citizens Encouraging Community Revitalization. Ms. Holmes has over 29 years of experience in leadership and problem solving for Federal Government, State Government, Local Government, Government Contractors and Small, Minority, Women, Veteran-Owned Businesses. Ms. Holmes was appointed to the Minority Business Opportunity Commission and has served in the past as the President of the Camp Springs Civic Association, the President of Prince George’s County Civic Federation and as a Community Facilitator and Liaison for the District IV Coffee Round Table with Prince George’s County Police. In addition, Ms. Holmes has served as an Election Judge for two years. Ms. Holmes formerly held a top-secret security clearance with the U.S. Department of Air Force.
Ms. Holmes received an Associate of Arts in Business Administration/Computer/Accounting from the Yorktowne Business Institute.
Dr. Jameelah Lewis
Board Member
Dr. Lewis is a member of the Board of Directors for Imagine Andrews Public Charter School and is currently the Customer Liaison Team Lead for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) ERP Business Office. He has worked within NAVSEA for nearly ten years. In his current capacity, Dr. Lewis is responsible for designing and leading an enterprise-wide adult training and development program that focuses on Diversity and Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
Dr. Lewis was honorably discharged in 2003 from the United States Air Force and holds a secret security clearance. Dr. Lewis received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Jewish Studies from the City of College of New York, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Public Policy and a PhD in Public Administration, Law and Public Policy from Walden University.
