2026-2027 Opening Letter to Families

Greetings, Imagine Andrews Families,
It’s a great day at Imagine Andrews!
I hope you and your family have had a wonderful summer filled with opportunities to relax, make memories, and enjoy time together. As we prepare to welcome our scholars back, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to our returning families and an extra special welcome to those joining the Imagine Andrews family for the first time. We are excited to begin another incredible school year together!
At Imagine Andrews, we know that the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships between families, scholars, and staff. Your involvement, encouragement, and support make a tremendous difference, and we look forward to working alongside you to help every scholar learn, grow, and thrive.
As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we remain committed to providing an engaging learning environment where academic excellence, character development, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
Our schoolwide priorities, or “Big Rocks,” for this year include:
- Continuing to Reduce Chronic Absenteeism
- Maintaining of Purple Star Status as We Prepare for Renewal
- Strengthening Character Development Through Our Core Values
- Continuing Our Strong Focus on Reading and Mathematics Achievement
These priorities reflect our commitment to ensuring every scholar has the support, opportunities, and encouragement they need to succeed. Together, we can help every child reach their full potential.
Back-to-School Information
The first day of school for all Imagine Andrews scholars is August 25, 2026.
- Doors Open: 8:10 a.m.
- Breakfast: 8:10–8:25 a.m.
- Scholars purchasing breakfast should arrive by 8:15 a.m. to allow enough time to eat before instruction begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Dismissal Times
- Kindergarten–4th Grade: 2:45 p.m.
- 5th–8th Grade: 3:15 p.m.

- Kindergarten Orientation: August 24, 2026 @ 11:00-11:30 am
- New Family Open House: August 24, 2026 @ 11:15-11:45 am
- Returning Family Open House: August 24, 2026 @ 1:00-1:30 pm
- First Day of School: August 25, 2026
- Back-to-School Nights: (5-8) September 14 & (K-4) September 17 @ 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm
Our Back-to-School events are a wonderful opportunity to meet our teachers and staff, explore classrooms, learn about grade-level expectations, and discover ways we can work together to support your scholar’s success throughout the year.
