Imagine Andrews Public Charter School (PCS) was established on Joint Base Andrews in 2011 to provide outstanding educational opportunities for military and community students.

Our mission is to serve our nation by providing the students of the Andrews Community with a “world class” education, while meeting the needs of military families. Our vision is to create a school environment that prepares students for high school and beyond, develops their strong moral character, and provides them with the skills necessary to lead and advance our nation.

Award-winning School

In just one year, Imagine Andrews has quickly become a prize-winning member of the Imagine Schools community. Since opening in 2011, the school has achieved a number of inaugural school year successes, not the least of which are four awards given by Imagine Schools. The accolades, considered to be among the organization’s highest honors, include:

Overall New School of the Year Award. This honor is awarded to the best new Imagine school in the nation for each school year.
Academic Growth/Achievement Award. This award goes to the school that met high marks on state assessments while also showing significant learning gains for students as measured by the SAT10.
Parent Satisfaction/Choice Award. Imagine Andrews was rewarded for its very high response rate on the Parent Surveys.
Shared Values Award. This award, based on staff and student surveys, reflects how well the school embodies the shared values.

School Is Open!

Preparing for Take-off!

Dear students, parents, and families of Imagine Andrews: On August 20, 2012, we opened our doors and took the next steps in providing you with a world-class education. Our first year was a resounding success, and we are prepared to make year two at Imagine Andrews even better.
